Celebrating 15 years this year of riding dapper The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders from all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health supporting the Movember charity.
Powered Events were pleased to support The Distinguised Gentleman's Ride Oxford for the fourth year. Providing a sound and staging package for ride hosts to be seen and heard while presenting awards to the highest fundraisers, best dressed and shiniest bike to the 250+ gentlefolk participating in 2026.
Triumph Oxford provided the starting location and with a modest crowd depth of 20m Martin Audio Flexpoint and WS218X subwoofers were perfectly placed to provide DGR Oxford the festival atmosphere. The point source speaker package allowed for quick deployment ready for the early arrival of fundraisers and guests. Allen & Heath Avantis with Sennheiser wireless made sure the pre-ride briefing was heard front to back and sounding great.
Riders set off for the themed ride through the surrounding villages of Oxford and into the city centre stopping off and passing through some of Oxford's most well known locations raising in excess of £34,000 in support of prostate cancer research and men's mental health.
